Commentary:

The gnostic gospels have been encoded for only someone who can truely realise the gnosis would understand it.

(Text) For the name of the gospel is the manifestation of hope, since that is the discovery of those who seek him, because the All sought him from whom it had come forth. You see, the All had been inside of him, that illimitable, inconceivable one, who is better than every thought. (Text).

This part is supreme. Everything came forth from tbe ousia (formless). It says eveything has been inside him who is better than thought.

What this means is all the forms of the universe have come forth from the formless nature. Everything is inside the formless whole.

Our body, world, universe are contained in the one formless nature.

It says also that all sought him from whom it had come forth, this secretly implies to seek from whom it had came forth. Whom means god (the ousia nature) which all in the universe arises.

Better than thought, can only mean formless.

Thought is limited to time and space. Formless is not.
